It is written to provide metadata for the Kodi Media Center (formerly known as XBMC), MediaPortal and Plex media server. I'm at a loss to know why TMM is the only one having this issue.TinyMediaManager is a media management tool written in Java/Swing. It seem Plex also detects this source as HDR. I also recently started experimenting with Plex.
#TINYMEDIAMANAGER ROOT FOLDER MANUAL#
I made a few nice changes to the rename feature but when I see the HDR not matching I refrain from the manual use of `rename` so that at least HDR will remain in the filename. I get about a 25% detect failure rate and I've yet to put my finger on what is causing it to fail while the TV and Kodi believes it to be HDR. For some reason TMM fails to detect HDR in this case. If I play this source in Kodi it also detects and shows a HDR logo icon when bringing up the info, as well as my TV doing it's own flash and logo shown so both believe it's HDR. My LG C9 does a quick flash and shows the HDR logo in upper right corner of screen when I play such a source. I've not quite been able to put my finger on the issue that triggers HDR not being properly detected in TMM but the case below is definitely HDR.
